Results of experiential learning in the planting design education

The whole process of building an Interactive Experimental Garden was aimed at enriching conventional education at faculty with an experience form. The process of designing and realisation of the garden was taught at the Department of Planting Design and Maintenance for three years. After completing the realisation of the garden, we addressed the students - garden implementers through a questionnaire survey to find out whether they gained new skills and competencies by participating in the project and whether their work in the garden motivated to study at the faculty and the profession of garden architect. Acquiring news skills in landscape and garden design

Thanks to their participation in designing of the Interactive Experimental Garden, the students could understand time-consuming requirements of the whole project. On the subject „Landscape Budgeting and Finance“ the students had an opportunity to see what the project implementation included from a financial point of view.
